Interesting week that has me still upset. The NFC locked in all six spots and now seeding is up for grabs while the AFC is interesting to say the least. Before we look ahead, let’s look back on pick’em:

Here are our picks in case you missed them. By now you’ve seen the scores so I’m going to show who we picked…

Raiders edge Chargers 23-20 in OT – We both picked Oakland: 1-0 G-Man/1-0 Matty D

Redskins drop Eagles 38-24 to win NFC East – We both took the Eagles: 1-1 G-Man/1-1 Matty D – It is going to be an interesting offseason as this will be Chip’s first sub-.500 record. Let’s close it out with a W against the Giants on Sunday boys

Jets squeak by Pats 26-20 in OT – We both picked New England: 1-2 G-Man/1-2 Matty D – Bill made an interesting call choosing to kick in OT. I will say that does boost confidence in the defense showing you trust them, even if it backfires.

Texans rock Titans 34-6 – We both picked Houston: 2-2 G-Man/2-2 Matty D

Chiefs beat Browns 17-13 – We both picked KC: 3-2 G-Man/3-2 Matty D – The Chiefs clinch a playoff birth

Colts sneak by Dolphins 18-12 – Matt picked Indy while I went with Miami: 3-3 G-Man/4-2 Matty D – Not even Matt could have predicted Charlie Whitehurst carrying Indy to that win.

Lions pounce 49ers 32-17 – We both picked Detroit: 4-3 G-Man/5-2 Matty D

Bills beat Cowboys 16-6 – We both picked Buffalo: 5-3 G-Man/6-2 Matty D

Bears edge Bucs 26-21 – We both picked Tampa Bay: 5-4 G-Man/6-3 Matty D

Falcons end Panthers perfecto 20-13 — We both picked Carolina: 5-5 G-Man/6-4 Matty D – The run had to end eventually. If I was Cam, I’d be glad the shortfall was now and not in the playoffs

Ravens survive Steelers 20-17 – We both picked the Steelers: 5-6 G-Man/6-5 Matty D – Probably the most thrilling game of the day, Big Ben and the Steelers had the ball but were stonewalled

Saints down Jags 38-27 – We both picked New Orleans: 6-6 G-Man/7-5 Matty D

Rams sweep Seahawks 23-17 — We both picked Seattle: 6-7 G-Man/7-6 Matty D -St. Louis is sneakily sitting at 7-8 and plays the 49ers on Sunday. Seattle has clinched a playoff spot.

Cardinals crush Packers 38-8 — Matt picked Green Bay and I took the Arizona: 7-7 G-Man/7-7 Matty D – Arizona locks up a first-round bye.

Vikings railroad Giants 49-17 – We both picked Minnesota: 8-7 G-Man/8-7 Matty D

Broncos edge Bengals 20-17 in OT – We both picked Cincy EDITOR’S NOTE: As I compile the final numbers, AGAIN Matt missed my picks. I actually picked the Broncos while Matt picked Cincy – Denver clinches a playoff spot

Finishing the season on a rocky note, need a strong win to punctuate my dominance. The Eagles have me in a state of depression but honestly, they weren’t that good. It was apparent in Week 1 and was never really corrected aside from a strong game against the Jets. Elsewhere in the NFL, we have a great Week 17 brewing as the AFC playoff picture is murky and the Pack take on the Vikings for the NFC North. EDITOR G-MAN’S ADDITION: Matt needs to translate my picks better.
