Week 2 Sit ‘Em Start ‘Em

Wow, what a week.  I hope the fantasy gods were on your side last Sunday.  Whether you absolutely crushed Week 1, or your players didn’t show up, that’s all in the past.  Let’s set our sights on Week 2.

Colin Kaepernick – San Francisco 49ers – QB

Kaep put on quite a performance last week against Dallas.  He didn’t throw much (23 attempts), but boy was he efficient.  His lack of throws was simply a matter of gameplay, as the Niners defense put them up early.  Regardless, he still found his big tight end Vernon Davis twice in the end zone.  Look for him to get more chances to sling the ball this week against a Bears team coming off an embarrassing Week 1 loss. – Start ‘Em

Nick Foles – Philadelphia Eagles – QB

Foles just didn’t have it last week, and that’s putting it lightly.  Before I put him back in a lineup, he’s got to prove he won’t turn the ball over 3 times.  Time to bench him this week to light a fire under under him – Sit ‘Em

Darren Sproles – Philadelphia Eagles – RB

Sproles put up pretty good stats in a week where none of his teammates did anything.  He was very efficient on his 11 runs, and also caught 4 passes.  A very solid flex start, especially in PPR or half PPR formats – Start ‘Em

Zac Stacy – St. Louis Rams – RB

Nothing is going right in St. Louis right now.  With Bradford out, I wouldn’t trust any Ram as a reliable fantasy option.  Air on the side of caution. – Sit ‘Em

Ray Rice – FA – RB

Obvious. – Sit ‘Em

Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson – Minnesota Vikings – RB

Again, obvious. – Sit ‘Em

Larry Fitzgerald – Arizona Cardinals – WR

Not entirely sure why, but I have a good feeling about Fitzy this week.  I’ll just leave it at that. – Start ‘Em

Victor Cruz – New York Giants – WR

This is a tough one, but the Giants offense is very volatile right now.  If you have a safer option, I would sit Cruz. – Sit ‘Em
