Andre Johnson Wants Out of Houston, Make Way for DeAndre Hopkins



Source – According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Johnson said he wants to play for another team and four NFL clubs have expressed interest in trading for the 33-year-old veteran.

The Texans, however, are still resisting moving their star receiver.

Johnson missed Texans OTAs and mandatory minicamp this offseason, but was reportedly interested in returning for training camp after speaking with new head coach Bill O’Brien, however a dispute with the team over $1 million has created a new rift.

Spotlight, meet DeAndre Hopkins.  DeAndre Hopkins, meet the spotlight.  It’s looking more and more likely that Hopkins will be the go to receiver this season in Houston, especially with Andre Johnson gone.  Expect big dividends on Hopkins’ fantasy stock.  Cue the highlights:
